A few of us took a 2 hour scooter ride out of the city and after being stopped by the police and all getting jacked for 500 baht each, which is about $15, we got to an Elephant sancturary. Its where they bring retierd performing Elephants we parked on the side of the road and walked a short trail to the feild where they all were at. they were really friendly they all let us walk right up and feed them and all tried to shake hands w us. I guess we were not supposed to be there because after about 15 minuts a group of angry Thai guys came beefing w us and told us to leave.
